Works Package
- Construction of a new link road connecting A558 Daresbury Expressway and Keckwick Lane, two new roundabouts and associated works.
- The scope of works typically comprised site clearance, earthworks fill, cuttings and re-profiling, installation of new drainage and ducting systems, construction of new carriageways and footways/cycleways, electrical works, road signs and markings, safety fencing and landscaping.
- Additional works involved the re-grading and construction of plateaus to create suitable areas for future commercial building developments.
- Planing out and re-laying existing carriageway to ensure smooth tie-in.
- Installation of new surface water drainage system to the carriageway widening.
- Installation of safety fencing.
- Planing out of existing carriageway surfacing.
