NMS are currently working on two sections of the new Metrolink around Manchester following on from the work carried out on the Oldham line. The Metrolink is broken down into three sections; The Oldham line which was the first section and is now completed and open to the public, the Rochdale line which is due to be completed soon and the Airport line due to open in 2016.

Currently a number of civils gangs are working in Rochdale Town Centre carrying out extensive civil engineering and hard landscaping works in and around the main stop.  Works here are due for completion in July.

Also works are progressing at Manchester Airport with the planing division carrying out work on a regular basis. The pictures below are from some recent works at the Airport, were this particular scheme involved planing 3000 ton over three days.
